Tyrone Wheatley (born 1972) was a running back who played 10 seasons from 1995 to 2004. He played for the University of Michigan in college football, and the New York Giants and Oakland Raiders of the National Football League. During his first two seasons in the NFL Wheatley was also a kick return specialist. While playing for the University of Michigan he led his team to a Rose Bowl victory in 1993, and was named the games most valuable player.
