Simone Inzaghi (born April 5, 1976, in Piacenza, Italy) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre forward for the Serie A club S.S. Lazio.He is one of the best strikers of his generation and is very popular with Lazio fans. He is currently unhappy with coach Delio Rossi for not getting enough time on the pitch.
He has previously played for Piacenza F.C., Carpi, Novara Calcio, A.C. Lumezzane, Brescello and U.C. Sampdoria. Inzaghi has also represented the Italian national football team.
He is the brother of Filippo Inzaghi, who is also a professional footballer. Also Simone has a son, Tommaso, born April 29, 2001 with ex-girlfriend model/actress Alessia Marcuzzi.
