Racing Club Warwick Football Club is a football club based in Warwick, Warwickshire, England.

History


They were formed in 1919 under the name of Saltisford Rovers and they initially spent many years playing in the junior leagues.

The club's heyday was from 1947-1954 when many trophies were won, including the Birmingham Alliance Senior Cup where they defeated Birmingham City in the final at St. Andrews. The club played in the Warwick League, Leamington & District League, the Warwickshire Combination, the West Midlands League and the Midland Combination prior to joining the Southern League at the start of the 1989/90 season. They had finished runners-up in the Midland Combination the previous season, having been champions in 1987/88.
