Tennis tournament, which takes place in March, has parted ways with Pacific Life. The professional tennis tournament held in Indian Wells is seeking a new title sponsor after ending its seven-year relationship with Pacific Life Insurance Co. of Newport Beach.

Former UCLA player loses in first round of Countrywide Classic at his alma mater, but after recovering from shoulder injury, he s happy to be on court again. Zack Fleishman walked off the Straus Stadium court a loser Monday, after falling to Marc Gicquel, 6-3, 6-0, in the first round of the Countrywide Classic at UCLA. After the match he was so tired, he said he felt as if he'd fought a 12-round boxing match, yet the match lasted only 50 minutes.
