The WTA Tier I tournaments are a series of ten tennis tournaments held throughout the year in various locations around the world, chiefly in Europe and North America. The tournaments are part of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tour. The concept is similar to the ATP Masters Series.
Events
The locations of the tournaments are somewhat fixed, although recently there have been some changes. The 10 tournaments – in calendar order – are:

Rogers ATT Cup - A women's event which alternates between Toronto and Monreal, Canada. Played on a hard court surface in August.
Swisscom Challenge - A women's event held in Zurich, Switzerland. Provides live scoreboards, schedule, tournament information, news, and results. Site in english and german.
Toray Pan Pacific Open - A women's event held in Tokyo, Japan. Tickets, draws, and player profiles. Site in English and Japanese.
